Mindbody Payments
I worked on a range of payment projects within the business software framework, such as dispute management, payment processing, card reader technology, and card updater services, all aimed at enhancing transactional ease and security for our clients.
Dispute Management
I initiated the design process with thorough research to gather actionable data, aiming to enhance the user experience for clients managing transaction disputes with their customers. As a result, I developed a new dashboard that provided an overview of all disputes, comprehensive customer information, and dispute status, along with a detailed view for each dispute, enabling clients to access more information and respond effectively, such as submitting necessary documents requested by banks.
Payment Processing
I developed a concept to streamlined onboarding process for our clients to handle payments with ease, partnering with Stripe for the technical integration. Our primary objective was to create an intuitive, two-step sign-up process where most of the required information was auto-filled from the data we already possessed, simplifying the application process for the clients while ensuring data accuracy. While awaiting approval post-underwriting, we provided a learning platform with all essential information, keeping our clients informed and prepared, thus enriching their experience and facilitating smooth transitions.
Card Reader
The focus was to redesign the payment modal in the point-of-sale system to enhance the checkout experience for customers. This new user interface enabled customers to seamlessly make payments and leave tips using the card reader, while also providing our clients with the flexibility to distribute the tips among staff and deliver digital receipts through email, print, or text, thereby streamlining the whole transaction process.
Card Updater
I was part of the team that designed a modal to introduce and facilitate enrollment in a new feature that helps prevent declined credit card transactions. Integrated with Visa and Mastercard, this feature automatically updates any lost, stolen, or expired cards stored in the system, costing the client only $1 per card, thereby offering them convenience and mitigating disruption in payments.
